The young veteran looked behind him at the stranger's words. His eyes narrowed slightly as he reflexively sized him up. Hamelin was sure to continue his relaxed stance to not provoke any undue situations. Here towards the top of the world, tempers were quickly lost these days.

“I am seeing Mortekai as well.” Hamelin said with a polite salute and slight nod.

“It seems this innkeeper doesn't know his whereabouts.” He continued. “The day is spent, shall we share a drink while we wait?”
