My HKW friend Luzbel raises a interesting question regarding a possible change in Diablo 3 and its art…

Just read an article in yahoo! about the uproar several fans are causing due to the “colorful” and “rainbow brite” aspect Diablo 3 was presented with. Seems there’s even a petition page complaining about the game graphics being too colorful that has already gathered OVER 50 THOUSAND signatures! (And those are only the 50 thousand that know they can sign a petition online, or that take the precious time to fill it).

Blizzard is currently looking for a graphic designer… and the stuff in the parenthesis seems exactly what they would need to do to modify the current aspect of Diablo III. Who knows? Maybe the Diablo community was indeed displeased with the game presentation. For what I’ve seen on the forums at Battle.net, the longest debates don’t revolve around excitement, but concern about the graphic quality of D III being “too WoWish”. I’ve read some people even worried there’s such a “stupid class like the witchdoctor”, and on top of that they didn’t even like the clothing of the character…

From behind the camp from the woods movement is suddenly observed. Fearing yet another attack the babrarians and the Amazons try to organise in this direction. The woods is silent and only the cries of the wounded when they are tended by the healers are heard.

Rainark opened his eyes and saw Graywind moving his way.
“Good morning, Rain” Graywind said as he and Rainark Clasp hands.

Graywind told him he did not know who the field commander was and that he was on his way to his room to gather his supplies.

“Ok Brother, While you get things in order ill be off looking for the field commander”

Rainark turn and headed out to the Yard thinking to him self –A quest before my quest..what a pain– he chuckeled.

Looking everywhere he hope to find the Commander he seeked , and soon…

As some of you might recall the Holy Knights, guided by Mortekai, had just sailed across the large body of water separating their native homeland with the barbarians. There they met up with Jiian, leader of a large group of Barbarians and also kinsman of Mortekai. Through Mortekai they also got in touch with several companies of Amazons that joined them on the shore.

After just a day or so Mortekai vanishes and Cedron find only a slaughter field and Mortekai’s 2 war swords set on each side of the large passageway that the HKW and their friends would pass through later on. Cedron and Morkai are of course worried about this and Cedron follow up on a lead he found at the scene while the small army marches on towards Harrogath, where they hope to be able to base their operations.

From the darkness a glimmer of hope has been lit and Diablo 3 has been announced.

This has in turn sparked my own passion for the game and on this small website I will take that passion and focus it into both a resource site for Diablo 3 and as a fous point for the RPG-like story of Mortekai and his friends the Holy Knights of Westmarch that goes back several years since the early days of Diablo 2.

The layout is not much, but I will try to change that when time permit as I am juggling my own webdesign business and going back to school again to get my skills on paper basicly. I will probably use something like my Diablo 3 blog layout that I poked together one night when I could not sleep…
