Diablo III Real Money Auction House

I have two things to confess:

Firstly, I’m a massive Diablo fan. I was hooked on Diablo and Diablo II (especially Diablo II) & the Diablo III Beta is looking awesome. I’m excited. I’m especially excited about the Diablo III RMAH (The “Real Money” as opposed to “Gold” section of the Diablo III Auction House).

Which leads to my second confession:

I’m not exceptional amongst my videogame pals. I’ve friends who can smoke me in any game that you care to name. Maybe I’ve got slow reflexes or something. I don’t know. What I do know is I’m the kind to play to my strengths rather than my weaknesses. Take those friends as examples, when we play World of Warcraft together they rock the arena, they down raid bosses and I, well I sit outside the auction house rubbing my hands together.

You see, I have got one area of gaming nailed: The Economy. My main gaming pursuit of the past year has been amassing gold in World of Warcraft and I made many hundreds of thousands of gold there across multiple characters and realms. In return for my friends beating me in any duel or damage meter, I would bask in my [digital] wealth when they came begging. So you can see why I’m so excited about the Diablo III auction house. I want to share that excitement and hope this blog acts as a Diablo 3 RMAH guide to those who follow it.

Most of my initial research so far indicates that, at the very least, a player with the right tools and mindset can pay for their gaming habits for as long as the Diablo 3 auction house stays up and running. Never worry about being able to afford games again! If you get lucky, if you get smart you may even be able to make a career out of the Diablo 3 RAMH and quit your job! Well we can hope.

My ability to make gold together with my love of fantasy games, makes the Diablo 3 RMAH an opportunity I couldn’t wait to explore. Then (joy of joys) I got my hands on a D3 beta key…  With the chance to ‘get ahead’ using the beta client I’m confident that I can create a  Diablo III RMAH guide to help others.

If you follow the articles to come I think there’s a fair chance that you’ll learn how to make good coin in the Diablo III currency based auction house. I believe I can help you. You don’t need to be a ‘pro-gamer’ and you won’t even need lots and lots of time.
